PT Quick
PT Quick is commonly used for determination of PT in patients administered vitamin K-antagonists and for detection of deficiencies within the extrinsic and common pathways of the coagulation cascade. PT Quick reagent is easy to reconstitute, and calcium is already added to the reagent before lyophilisation. PT Quick is a single vial product calibrated against the WHO international preparation of thromboplastin RBT/05, which is traceable to the first reference preparation of thromboplastins. The calibration assures low lot-to-lot variation and consequently results in reliable PT determination.
